Los Angeles, California – January 22nd, 2008 – Fans of mixed martial arts enjoyed a “Free-For–View” broadcast Saturday of the Total Fighting Alliance (TFA) event "D-Day", live over the Internet, from the Santa Monica Civic Center. In partnership with Network Foundation Technologies (NFT), this was the fourth broadcast of a TFA event, made possible by NFT’s patented NiFTy Online Television product, following the highly successful broadcasts in October 2007 of “Battle On the Beach”, the August 2007 “Oceanfront Fisticuffs” event, and the “War on the Shore” event last April.
The “D-Day” broadcast was a tremendous success, combining top-notch production values with the attraction of multiple title fights. The broadcast drew viewers from across the nation.
Richard Rasmussen, Director of Operations, of TFA, said, “The fan response to our live broadcasts has been very positive, and we look forward to more broadcasts in 2008.”
Marcus Morton, President of NFT said, “We are pleased to continue our partnership with TFA to make this latest broadcast possible. Our broadcast technology allows mixed martial arts fans everywhere to enjoy these TFA events.”
