Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Void where prohibited or restricted by law or regulation. Open only to legal U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. THERE WILL BE 8 WEEKLY DRAWINGS, 2 MONTHLY DRAWINGS and 1 END OF PROMOTION DRAWING TO AWARD THE GRAND PRIZEs (See Section #2).

1. HOW TO ENTER: To participate in the Sweepstakes, navigate the web to www.niftytv.com/af2/, click the "Connect & View Your Way To ArenaCup9 Sweepstakes" scroll at the bottom of the player at any time during the promotional commercial, complete the sweepstakes entry form, and be eligible to win great prizes from the af2!  Once your valid information is submitted, you will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes database of qualified entries. Entry may also be made by mailing a postcard on which you have hand-printed your first and last name, complete address, telephone number and age to; arenafootball2 Sweepstakes, 200 South Michigan Ave, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL 60604.  Online and mail in entries received by each drawing cut off date as listed in Section 2, herein, will be entered into the corresponding random Sweepstakes drawing plus any drawings that follow including the end-of-promotion Sweepstakes drawing. The first weekly drawing will be conducted on 6/9/08 and the last will be conducted on 7/28/08. The end of the promotion drawing will be conducted on 8/1/08 to award the Grand and First Prizes. Any mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or automated devices will be disqualified. No mechanically reproduced or photocopied mail-in entries allowed. LIMIT: One Online entry per person and/or per email address per day. There is no limit to the number of mail-in entries per day. If you enter Online or by mail, you will only be contacted if you are selected as a potential winner of a prize offered in this Sweepstakes.  One weekly prize, one monthly and one end-of-promotion prize per person or household over the Promotion Period (as defined in Section 2, below). Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received at the time of each drawing. All Sweepstakes entries selected as a weekly or monthly winning entry or remain in the general Sweepstakes drawing pool will be eligible for the random end of the promotion drawing.
2. KEY DATES: Sweepstakes starts on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 6:00 PM (EST) and ends on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 12:00 PM (EST) (hereafter the "Promotion Period"). No responsibility is assumed by arenafootball2, LLC (“af2”, hereafter the “Judges”) or Network Foundation Technologies (“NiFTyTV”, hereafter the “Partner”), for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, stolen, inaccurate or postage-due entries, or for any computer, Online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Online entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All entries become the property of af2 and the partner and will not be returned to entrant.

Entries and associated random drawing dates:

Once an entry is received and entered into the appropriate Sweepstakes category, it remains valid for all remaining drawings going forward from the date of receipt.

PRIZES/ODDS: ONLY THE NUMBER OF PRIZES LISTED BELOW WILL BE AWARDED IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES: WEEKLY Prizes per random Sweepstakes drawing: Each random drawing for 8 weeks will select one (1) winner each to receive one (1) of the weekly prizes.  MONTHLY Prizes per random Sweepstakes drawing: Each random drawing for 2 months will select one (1) winner each to receive one (1) of the monthly prizes.

GRAND PRIZES: af2TV & NiFTyTV “Online Viewer of the Year” which includes: ArenaCup9 tickets, ArenaCup9 VIP event tickets, travel and lodging accommodations.
ArenaCup note:
Prize includes: round-trip, non-refundable coach class airfare for winner and guest from a major commercial airport nearest winner's residence to a major commercial airport in ArenaCup host city.  Standard accommodations (double occupancy) for two (2) nights MAX, check in and departure date pending.
ALL EXPENSES AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE AND USE OF THE PRIZE NOT SET FORTH IN THESE RULES ARE THE OBLIGATION OF THE WINNER. Winner and travel companion must have appropriate identification to travel within the US, and must travel at the same time and on the same itinerary, as specified by Judge in its sole discretion. No assignment, transfer or substitution of prize is permitted. If the winner chooses not to accept the grand prize or is unable to travel on the dates required, an alternate winner will be chosen. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): US $1,500. Actual value will vary depending on the winner's departure location. In the event that the winner lives in or within a close proximity to ArenaCup host city, as determined by Judge, in its sole discretion, Judge and Partner reserve the right to substitute an alternate method of transportation without awarding balance of costs. The balance of any amount short of the maximum to be spent on airline travel or hotel noted in these rules will not be awarded to winner. Travel must be on dates specified by Judge. The ArenaCup game date and time are determined in the sole discretion of the af2 and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as prizes will govern in the event a legal game, as defined by the af2, is not played due to weather, an act of God, and an act of terrorism, civil disturbance or any other reason. The Judge and Partner will not be responsible for Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation of the ArenaCup. No cash alternative prize is offered. The applicable arena representative, reserves the right to remove or to deny entry to winner and/or guest who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the game. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event a trip winner or their guest engages during the trip in behavior that (as determined by Judge in Partners’ sole discretion) is obnoxious, threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Judge reserves the right to terminate the trip early, in whole or in part, and send the winner and/or his or her guest home with no further compensation.
General Prize Notes: All prize elements to be awarded will be selected by the Judge or its designated agent. Potential winners will be notified within 10 days of each drawing. The Judge reserves the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value as necessary. Return of any prize as undeliverable will result in the disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. No substitution or transfer of prize or cash equivalent is permitted except by the Judge. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize (if any) are subject to the manufacturer’s terms thereof, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturer for any warranty and/or guarantee any portion of an awarded prize that remains unclaimed or expires will become void.

1. NOTICES: If a selected potential winner fails to comply with these Official Rules, cannot be located or reached, has provided an incorrect email or mailing address, is determined to be ineligible, declines or fails to claim the prize for any reason, or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, such entrant will forfeit his or her opportunity to receive a prize and an alternate winner will be selected. By entering, you release and hold harmless the Judge, Partner, af2 member teams or players and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers and employees, agents, advertising and promotion agencies and vendor partners (“Promotion Entities”) from all liability or any injuries of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance, travel or use of any prize. By entering, you agree to abide by these official rules and the Judges’ decisions regarding this Sweepstakes. Acceptance of prize constitutes that the Promotion Entities may use winner’s name, voice and likeness, along with his or her address (city and state) and the right to use and publish their entries, proper name, and any statements made or attributed to such winner (collectively, the "Attributes") in any and all media, unless prohibited by law. This will include, but is not limited to, media now known or hereafter devised, without notice, review or approval, in perpetuity and throughout the universe for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the Sweepstakes without further compensation, and releases Promotion Entities from all claims arising out of the use of such Attributes.
2. DRAWING: A total of Two (2) random monthly Sweepstakes in addition to Eight (8) random weekly drawings will conducted per the schedule listed in Section 2, above. Random drawings will take place from all eligible entries received. Sweepstakes and the Sweepstakes drawing will be under the control of arenafootball2 (“Judge”).  Prizes will be awarded only if participants comply with these Official Rules. Participant waives the right to assert as a cost of winning a prize, any and all costs of redemption or travel to redeem said prize, and any liability which might arise from redeeming, or seeking to redeem, or from use, misuse, acceptance or possession of said prize or from participation in prize-related activities. \
3. ELIGIBILITY: Participation open only to legal U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. The following are NOT eligible to participate or win prizes: Employees of Partner, Judge, and its respective affiliates and subsidiaries, its advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective employees, individuals engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for this Sweepstakes; Persons who are immediate family of, dependents of (as defined by IRS regulations), or who live in the same household as any person in any of the above categories.
4. PRIVACY: By entering into the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to Partner’s use of his or her personal information as described in the Partner’s Website's privacy policy and these Official Rules. In the event of any discrepancy between the privacy policy and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall control and govern.
5. ONLINE GENERAL RULES & MISCELLANEOUS: Potential winner(s) may be required to provide the Judge with proof that the potential winner(s) is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the potentially winning entry. Verification of prize claims and conduct of all drawings are under supervision of the Judge. Sponsors and Judge are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer Online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received or sent by Sponsor or Judge, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or by human error which may occur in the ability to enter a participant’s entry, or any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Sweepstakes. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes, as solely determined by the Judges, will be disqualified. If disqualified for any of the above abuses, Sponsors and Judge reserve the right to terminate entrant’s eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event any portion of Internet Sweepstakes is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, technical failure or other causes beyond the control of the Partner or Judge which, in the sole opinion of the Judge, corrupts, or impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes, arenafootball2 LLC reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, modify, suspend or terminate the Internet portion of the Sweepstakes, but will continue with the free, mail-in means of entry portion.
6. ENGLISH LANGUAGE: This Sweepstakes is conducted in English (which will be given its everyday ordinary meaning) and any and all disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts in the state of Illinois in the United States, exclusively, and subject to the laws of the state of Illinois. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the state of Illinois and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the state of Illinois.
